American film Nameless shot in Turda Salt Mine in Romania
American independent production Nameless is being filmed these days in the Turda Salt Mine in Romania, in Rudolf mine, at a depth of 120 meters.
“We started shooting in Romania on August 11 in Sighisoara, now we continue in Turda Salt Mine and then we go to Brasov and Bucharest. The shooting previously took place in Island and Spain, a week in each place, and in Romania we film the most, over 40 days. The film is an independent American project, a psychological thriller,” said Bogdan Moncea, the film’s delegate producer from Castel Film Romania, cited by local Mediafax.
According to him, several scenes are shot in the Turda Salt Mine, in the Rudolf mine.
“Director and screenwriter Bryan Thurman wrote these scenes specifically for the Turda Salt Mine, he chose the location a year ago,” said Moncea.
Nameless, starring Conan Stevens (Game of Thrones) and John Rhys-Davies (The Lord of the Rings), is directed by Thurman Bryan and Luis Esteban and is set to premiere in 2015.
