The Angry Birds Movie hits the screens in Romania one week before the US premiere
The Angry Birds Movie, an animated comedy based on the famous Angry Birds game, will hit the Romanian cinemas on May 13, one week before the premiere in the U.S.
The film will be screened in 3D, in both subtitled and doubled versions, according to local film distributor InterComFilm.
Angry Birds has been downloaded over three billion times, which makes it one of the most successful games of all times. The birds will soon arrive on the big screens, in a movie that lets the fans find out what made the birds so angry.
The film takes the viewers to an island populated by happy birds that can’t fly. In this paradise, Red (the voice of the actor Jason Sudeikis) – a bird with a temper problem, speedy Chuck (Josh Gad), and the volatile Bomb (Danny McBride) have always been outsiders. However, when the mysterious green piggies arrive on the island, it’s up to them to find out what the pigs are up to. Find out more about the film here and watch the trailer below.
