Another earthquake shakes Romania
An earthquake with the magnitude of 4.2 degrees on Richter scale took place in Romania’s Vrance seismic area on Friday morning, February 27, at 08:11, according to the National Institute for Research in Earth’s Physics (INCDFP).
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 129 km.
A strong earthquake of 5.7 degrees on Richter scale took place in Vrancea in late-November last year. The depth of the quake was 40 kilometres, which is why it was felt quite strongly around the epicentre.
