Romanian pharmaceutical manufacturer Antibiotice Iasi will invest EUR 12 million in expanding the production capacity, a project that is expected to be completed in 2013. Around EUR 4,2 million of the EUR 12 million investment will come from European funds.

The European funds will be used for purchase of equipment and facilities to equip the new manufacturing flow.

The Romanian pharmaceutical manufacturer has obtained last year a turnover of about EUR 52 million, up 11 percent compared with the previous year, and a net profit of EUR 2.96 million, up by 4.7 percent compared to earnings of previous year.
