An Emporio Armani store will open this month on Calea Victoriei, opposite two hotels in the area: Grand Hotel Continental and Novotel. Alsa Fashion Group took the franchise rights to bring the fashion brand to Romania. The 1,200 sqm store, which used to host the Phylosophy brand, will host an Armani monobrand store and an Armani Cafe coffee shop. The investment in the store and in the coffee shop is estimated to reach EUR 2 million.

Alsa Fashion Group also runs stores under the brands Ermenegildo Zegna, Max Mara and Mariela Burani in Romania.

Several other luxury brands have previously landed in Romania: Louis Vuitton with a store in the Marriott hotel and Hugo Boss, with two stores. Prada and Gucci are also expected to join the club of luxury fashion stores in Romania.
