Nearly 80,000 trade union members are expected on Wednesday October 27 to attend a meeting to be staged in Bucharest City by the five national trade union confederations, according to First Deputy Chairman of the BNS National Trade Union Bloc Ioan Pisc.

Pisc told a news conference on Friday that the protest rally will start at 10,00 hours, in the Victoriei Square, where the Government House is located. At 11:00hrs, the protesters will march down the central boulevards to the Constitution Square, near the Parliament Palace.

'We will not leave the Constitution Square until we have found out the final outcome of Parliament's vote,' said Pisc is relation to Parliament's vote scheduled for the same day on a motion of censure against the Emil Boc Cabinet tabled by the Opposition.

'If the vote favours the Government, we will continue our protest actions and resort to an all-out strike because the incumbent Government must leave,' said Pisc.
