The ARTmania festival, which has reached its sixth edition in the citadel of Sibiu in Romania, will be held between August 8 and 14 this year and features a lineup made of artists and bands like. Nevermore, Tarja Turunen (in picture) ,Lacrimas Profundere, Republica and Sonata Arctica. The first three will perform on August 12 and the last two bands on August 13. The festival will feature exhibitions, special events dedicated to arts and concerts which will take place on Friday and Saturday, August 12 and 13, in the Large Square in Sibiu.

Tickets for the festival can be purchased on MyTicket.ro,  in Diverta stores, Carturesti bookshops  and on Eventim.ro. The prices will vary between RON 100 and RON 180 for a pass and RON 70 and RON 100 for just one festival day, depending on when the tickets are bought. The ARTmania festival has became known worldwide. Over time, it brought to Romania well known rock bands as Nightwish, Serj Tankian, The sisters of mercy, Within Temptation and H.I.M. The festival is organized by the Artmania foundation, which was created in 2005.

Nevermore is an American heavy metal band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1991. They are known for songs like "Believe in Nothing" and "I, Voyager". Tarja Turunen, by her full name Tarja Soile Susanna Turunen Cabuli, is a Finnish singer, composer and a light lyric soprano. She is best known as an original member and the former lead vocalist of Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish. One of her best known songs is “ I walk alone”.

Lacrimas Profundere is a gothic metal band from Germany. Their name means "to shed tears" in Latin. They are known for song like "Solicitude, Silence" and "A Summer's End". Republica is an English alternative rock band formed in 1994. They are known for songs like “Ready to go” and “Drop dead gorgeous”. Sonata Arctica is a Finnish power metal band from the town of Kemi, originally assembled in 1995.  Among their best known songs are "Victoria's Secret", "Don't Say a Word" and "Paid in Full".
