Romanian Aurelia Costache took over as head of EY Romania’s business advisory department replacing Canadian Vargha Moayed, who has led this department since January 2016.

Aurelia Costache has coordinated EY’s consultancy for financial services division in the last three years. In the last two years, she has also been involved in setting up the EY global excellence center for robotic process automation (RPA).

Costache has 20 years of experience in consultancy for the financial and telecom sector. She has coordinated various projects in the Business Intelligence, Data Governance, business process reorganization, regulation compliance. She has also offered assistance in setting up new banks and reorganizing the branch networks of some local banks.
