Australian band PVT to play for the first time in Romania this week

The electro/rock Australian band PVT will perform for the first time in Romania during the ALT.CTRL Fest, on May 5 in Control Club (19 Academiei St.) in Bucharest, starting 21:00 hours. The German electro duo CBK / Naked Cuddlez will performs the opening act.

PVT band was formed in Sydney, Australia in 1999. After a period when the band consolidated the line-up and the sound, it released the debut album "Make Me Love You", in 2005. In 2008, the band signed with Warp Records, releasing the disc "O Soundtrack My Heart", which was declared the Sydney Album of the Decade by the FBI Radio. The band has been invited to major festivals such as Glastonbury and Meltdown in Europe. Moreover, PVT opened concerts for Arctic Monkeys, Sigur Ros and Gary Numan in their tours in Australia.

In 2010, PVT launched "Church With No Magic", an album included by Rough Trade in the top 100 best albums of last year. More about the band. Tickets for this event can be purchased for RON 30 form the entrance of the club in the evening of the event.
