The ParkLake shopping center developers, Portuguese company Sonae Sierra and Irish group Caelum, have chosen the Austrian company Strabag to carry out structural work for the mall located in the Titan district of Bucharest, an investment worth EUR 180 million, reports local Mediafax.

The shopping center, with a leasable area of 70,000 square meters, was already 70% leased. Its opening is scheduled in 2016, with over 200 stores and 2,600 underground parking places.

The Portuguese company Sonae Sierra owns more than 46 shopping centers in 14 countries, with a market value of more than EUR 5.9 billion. In Romania, it also owns the River Plaza shopping center in Ramnicu Vâlcea.

Caelum is a company specialized in real estate investment and development, owned by Irish investors.
