Average net income reaches EUR 657 in Bucharest
The average net income, which includes both salaries and other salary rights, reached EUR 657 per month in Bucharest, in December last year.
The level was about two times higher compared to those registered in poor counties such as Harghita, Caras-Severin, and Suceava, according to the National Statistics Institute (INS), reports local Economica.net.
At a national level, the average income rose by 13.3% between December 2014 and December 2015, to EUR 470, which is the highest level ever recorded in Romania.
After Bucharest, the highest average income was recorded in Ilfov (EUR 556), Cluj (524), Timis (492), Sibiu (EUR 486), and Constanta (EUR 469).
