Average net wage in Romania goes up in April
The average net wage in Romania reached RON 2,086 (EUR 466) in April 2016, up by RON 35 (1.7%) compared to the previous month.
When compared to April 2015, the average net salary was 12.3% higher.
The IT&C sector paid the highest average net wage in April this year, of RON 5,342 (EUR 1,194), while hotel and restaurant employees had the lowest salaries, with an average of RON 1,169 (EUR 251), according to data from the National Statistics Institute (INS).
