Romania's Banca Comerciala Carpatica launches credit for investment in agriculture

Romanian lender Banca Comerciala Carpatica (BCC) has launched the APIA SAPS credit for investments in agriculture. The product has the purpose to support business customers who meet the provisions of the Convention on financing working capital for developing current activities by beneficiaries of the Single Area Payment Scheme (SAPS). The amount of the loan given by the bank is maximum 80 percent of the amount from the SAPS.

The Agency for Payments and Intervention in Agriculture (APIA) is subordinated to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Starting with January 1, 2007, APIA runs the European funds to implement the support measures financed from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund.
