The Do-it-Yourself retailer bauMax Romania has recently opened its second store in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, following an investment of EUR 20 million. This is the retailer’s 15th store in Romania.

The new store has a built area of 15,000 sqm, a total of 200 parking places, and 105 employees. It also has a special 3,000 sqm Drive-In area.

The first bauMax store opened in Romania in 2006. The retailer currently has a total of 1,277 employees. In 2010, bauMax Romania recorded a turnover of EUR 150 million, up 24 percent compared to 2009.
