Bavarom sells more alcohol-free beer in Q1
Local beer producer Bavarom sold 60 percent more alcohol-free beer in the first quarter of the year than in the same period of last year, reaching a sold volume of 148,000 liters, the company has announced. The increase in the sales volume was partially due to the Easter holidays, according to Costin Ghindea, general manager with Bavarom. The company plans to double it market share on the non-alcoholic beer market, to a total of 3.6 percent of the non-alcohol beer consumption.
Bavarom posted a 45 percent increase in sales volume in the first three months of the year, compared to the similar period of last year.
