Bayer names Renato Keller new General Manager in Romania

Pharma producer Bayer Romania has recently appointed Renato Keller (in picture) new General Manager of the company, replacing Andreas Damaske. Renato Keller, former managing director for Bayer in Bulgaria, is also Country Head for Bayer Healthcare, according to the company.

Before coming to Romania, Renato Keller has held other managing position within Bayer Group. Between 2008 and 2011, he was Managing Director of Bayer Bulgaria EOOD, Country Head Bayer Schering Pharma, while between December 2006 and July 2008, he was Procurator Bayer Bulgaria EOOD, Country Head Bayer Shering Pharma Bayer Bulgaria. From November 2004 and December 2006 he was Managing Director Bayer Pakistan, after he previously was COO at Schering Switzerland for three years.

Bayer Group is present on the Romanian market through three divisions, namely Bayer Healthcare, Bayer CropScience, and Bayer MaterialScience. The company has 215 employees in Romania.

At a group level, Bayer’s sales went up 4.1 percent in 2011, to some EUR 36 billion.

Between 2008 and 2011, he was Managing Director of Bayer Bulgaria EOOD, Country Head Bayer Schering Pharma, while between December 2006 and July 2008, he was Procurator Bayer Bulgaria EOOD, Country Head Bayer Shering Pharma Bayer Bulgaria. From November 2004 and December 2006 he was Managing Director Bayer Pakistan, after he previously was COO at Schering Switzerland for three years.
