BCR Leasing, the third player in the local financial leasing market, granted financing of EUR 119 million in the first six months of the year, up 46% over the same period last year.

The largest increases in financing were recorded in the light commercial vehicles and motor vehicles segments.

The auto leasing represents the main business of BCR Leasing, with a share of 79% of the total financing granted. The rest goes on machines and equipment.

The company recorded a net profit of over EUR 3.2 million. Its market share exceeds 10%, and its competitors include UniCredit Leasing, Impuls Leasing, Raiffeisen Leasing, and BRD Sogelease.

The financial leasing companies in Romania granted new financing of about EUR 1 billion in the first six months of this year, up 25% year-on-year.
