Be Igloo sells twice more houses in six months this year than in the same period last year

The number of homes sold by Be Igloo has doubled in the first six months of this year compared to same period in 2010, 90 percent of the transactions being made for two-bedroom apartments, according to the company. Given the evolution of sales, the company plans to triple sales in 2011, compared to last year.

“In the first six months of last year we sold 30 apartments, while in the first half of 2011 we doubled the number of transactions compared to 2010. The average prices for which customers have bought apartments remained around EUR 60,000 and EUR 80,000”, said Nimrod Zvik, Managing Partner Be Igloo.

The company was established in 2009 to resale the homes purchased by the Norwegian investment fund Romania Invest. IN March this year Be Igloo became an independent organization with integrated services for PR, marketing and sales. The company's portfolio includes Optima and Armonia residential complex in Titan, Ten Blocks and West Park from Militari, My Dream Pipera, all in Bucharest, Primavera "Acacia Park" Ploiesti, Green City, Evocasa Selecta, Viva Brasov and Green Hills Piatra Neamt.
