Bell Bucharest, a local provider of linguistic services to national and multinational companies, recently rebranded as Britanica Learning Center, the company has announced. This decision to change the name came after the company’s partner in the UK - Bell Worldwide - decided to close its operations in Europe and focus more on Asia and the Middle East.

This year, the company estimates a turnover of around EUR 1 million, but also plans to expand and diversify the services offered, to increase the number of customers, but also to expand its team.

Britanica Learning Center currently has an administrative team of 15 people, a total of 36 trainers in Bucharest who teach in the corporate field, 22 trainers teaching children and some 100 collaborators across the country.

Some 80 percent of the company’s most requested services are represented by English language courses for companies and children. Half of the Britanica’s customers are represented by companies and half are children, according to the company.

Bell Bucharest, now re-branded as Britanica Learning Center, launched in 2005. Two years later, the company affiliated to the international network of language centers Bell Worldwide, headquartered in the UK.
