Bike sharing centers re-open in two Bucharest parks with 700 bikes available
La Pedale bike rental centers re-open on Tuesday, April 1, in Kiseleff and Herastrau parks in Romania’s capital, and will stay open until mid-November.
A total of 700 bikes will be available to sport fans, either children, teenagers or adults.
The bikes can be rented based on an ID card and a contract for a period of maximum two hours, according to the District 1 City Hall.
La Pedale centers will stay open from Monday to Friday, between 10:00 and 18:00, and Saturday and Sunday between 10:00 and 19:00.
Last year, 40,000 sport fans rented the bikes available in the two parks in Bucharest.
This program is part of a program started by District 1 City Hall aiming to promote cycling in the city after a model successfully implemented in major European capitals.
