Romanian security software producer producer BitDefender has launched a special, free edition of its software, only for Romanian users. BitDefender, which sells its products worldwide, is based in Romania, and offers the new product only users who speak Romanian, it has announced.

BitDefender, which has recently re-branded, has invested over EUR 1 million in a new logo, which includes the wolf, a Dacian flag symbol, and a new slogan, ‘Awake’.

“We have invested over EUR 1 million in the re-branding process, which is one of the crucial strategies for BitDefender in 2011,” said Florin Talpes, the company’s CEO and one of its owners.
