With Black Friday, the busiest shopping event of the year, just days away, tens of local retailers have already announced their intention to enter the discounts battle and fight for their share of Romanian consumers’ money. This year, Romanian retailers have “officially” set the Black Friday event on November 21, one week earlier than the actual Black Friday in the U.S., which this year falls on November 28, the day after the Thanksgiving holiday.

Most of the offers come from online retailers, but traditional retailers have also taken the model and announced hefty discounts for their products.
