Romanian law firm Bostina & Asociatii has won the bid to offer legal consultancy for the Rovinari energy project, which could reach EUR 1 billion, according to the law firm. The project consists in creating a mixed firm to build a 500MW energy core at Rovinari Thermal Power Plant. The investment in this project will reach EUR 1 billion and will be co-financed by the state-owned electricity producer and by a private investor.

Bostina & Asociatii will offer legal support in the selection of investors interested in taking part in the company that will build the project, will negotiate with these investors and set up the firm that will build the project.

Bostina & Asociatii , which has 130 lawyers, posted a turnover of EUR 16.98 million in 2009.
