BRD Sogelease, the leading arm of BRD-Groupe Societe Generale, financed EUR 99 million of products last year, up 35 percent on 2009. The company closed 1,400 new contracts during the year. Vehicle financing made 32 percent of the volume, while equipments, 53 percent. Real estate financing covered 15 percent, with a revival of the sale and lease back transactions.

“The biggest drop was in vehicle and construction equipments financing, following the deadlock on the two segments. In 2010, BRD Sogelease managed to improve the recovery process for the assets in case of canceled contracts,” wrote a press release from the company.
