Breed cats at Romania’s seaside for summer show
Over 200 breed cats took over the exhibition center in Romania’s seaside resort Mamaia last week-end. A cat show called SofistiCAT was organized in Mamaia, and gathered cat lovers and curious people, who came to admire or buy cats. The cat show has been organized yearly for the last eight years.
The event in Mamaia brought together Romanian and foreign cat owners and their breed cats. Two British Shorthair cats came from Bulgaria with their owner.
The biggest cat in the exhibition was a Maine Coon cat, which weights 8 kilos at two years old. The breed car reach a meter and 20 centimeters and a weight of 12 kilos.
The smallest cat was from the Singapura breed, the smallest on the world, with an average weight of 2.5 kilos.
Four foreign judges were invited to attend the cat show in Romania: Nurit Pahl, Eric Reijers, Yan Roca-Folch and Sebastian Pruchniak.
