Frenchman Patrick Papot, the general manager of the DIY retailer Brico Depot Romania, will leave his office at the end of the summer. The British group Kingfisher, which controls the retailer, has confirmed the information.

Papot’s term began when Kingfisher entered the local market in 2013. In March last year, Patrick Papot and his team inaugurated the first two Brico Depot stores in Romania, whereas this spring, the group completed the modernization of the 15 stores acquired from the French group Bricostore.

A French manager from the company B&Q, which is also part of the Kingfisher group, will replace Papot, reports local Wall-street.ro.
