British ambassador: Investors complain about Romania's infrastructure
Companies in the manufacturing sector that want to invest in Romania see infrastructure as one of the challenges Romania must overcome, said Paul Brummell, British ambassador to Bucharest.
The country has a lot of money available for infrastructure, namely some EUR 9 billion worth of EU funds. However, the Government has to prioritize the infrastructure needs, Brummell said, reports local Agepres.
Investors also complain about the lack of predictability in legislation and the corruption.
“The National Anticorruption Directorate DNA has done a good job, but there are still challenges,” the ambassador added.
