British band Noisettes to perform again in Romania this August

British band Noisettes will return to Romania for a concert that will be held on August 13, in Buftea, 15 kilometers away from Bucharest. The concert will be part of the Summer Well Festival, held on August 13 and 14.

Noisettes is an indie rock band from London, made of singer and bassist Shingai Shoniwa, guitarist Dan Smith, and drummer Jamie Morrison. The band was formed in 1996, when guitarist Smith and singer Shoniwa were attending the Brit School for Performing Arts & Technology in Croydon. Noisettes have toured Europe and the United States extensively, with the likes of TV on the Radio, Tom Vek, Babyshambles, Bloc Party and the Mystery Jets.

On 20 April 2009, the band released their second album “Wild Young Hearts”, and on February 5, 2010 the band released a new single "Saturday Night". They are presently working on a new album that is set for a 2011 release. More about the band. Noisettes was also in Romania for a concert last year.

In the two-day festival, on the main stage will perform 10 pop and rock bands. Informations about the festival schedule or ticket prices for this event are yet to be announced.
