British IT firm Endava to add 200 extra Romanian staff, open new offices
British IT company Endava plans to hire 200 more people in Romania this year and open new delivery centers in the country. The company will organize recruiting events in Bucharest, Iasi and Cluj – Napoca in the following months. Endava is looking to hire on positions like ASP.NET developers, client support manager, configuration and license specialist, Java developers, software testers and support engineers, among others, according to data on its website.
Endava currently employs 600 people, out of which 300 are located in the four centers in Romania. The company hired over 100 people in Cluj and Iasi in the second half of last year.
Endava plans to increase its office space in Romania from the current 2,500 sqm occupied, to around 5,000 sqm. It has already contracted 1,200 sqm of extra office space in the office buildings where it is located in Iasi and Cluj – Napoca.
The company plans to open new centers in cities like Sibiu, Targu Mures and Timisoara in the following years, but the next location will be chosen towards the end of this year.
Endava is headquartered in London and has offices across the UK, US, Romania and the Republic of Moldova. Its total turnover reaches EUR 27 million a year. In Romania, the company posted EUR 5.8 million in turnover last year, up 58 percent on the previous year.
