British Jamiroquai to bring jazz-funk to the Romanian seaside this summer
British band Jamiroquai will perform in Romania this summer, on the H2O beach is Mamaia, on July 2, starting 19:30 hours. The entrance to this event is free.
Jamiroquai is a British jazz funk and acid jazz band formed in 1992. Jamiroquai were initially the most prominent component in the early-90s London-based acid jazz movement. Subsequent albums have explored other musical directions such as pop, rock and electronica. The band sold more than 25 million albums worldwide and won a Grammy Award in 1997.
The band’s lead singer and songwriter, Jay Kay (in picture), was the one who decided to form the band.
Jamiroquai recorded 7 albums during its entire carrier, the first one, “Emergency on planet earth’, being released in 1993. The most recent recorded album, “Rock Dust Light Star”, was launched in 2010.
