Brussels terrorist attacks: At least three Romanians among the wounded
At least three Romanians were wounded in the Brussels terrorist attacks on Tuesday morning, March 22. Two Romanian citizens are in the hospital and one has already been released, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Romanian Embassy in Belgium has been communicating with the local authorities in Brussels to find if there were any other Romanians among the victims of the attacks.
Two explosions took place on Tuesday morning at the Brussels airport and another blast followed at a subway station near the European Union’s quarters. Some 30 people died in the blasts and about 230 were wounded.
The attackers may have come from the network behind November's massacres in Paris, which left 130 dead, Belgian security sources said, according to CNN.
