The Bucharest City Hall will organize a bid on January 19 to choose the company which will build and operate the underground car park in Alba Iulia square, estimated to require EUR 84.6 million. The car park, on three underground levels, will provide 1,490 parking spaces.

The bid will be organized as competitive dialogue, which resides in the contracting authority discussing with several pre-selected candidates to identify the proper solutions for the project. The winning company will recover its investment from the car park tax and from renting the retail spaces on the first underground floor.
