Bucharest Colectiv club fire death toll reaches 60

Three more victims of the tragic incident at Colectiv club in Bucharest died over the weekend bringing the death toll to 60.

A young woman from Ramnciu Valcea died on Friday, November 20, at a hospital in Germany. The next day, another young man died at Sf. Ioan Hospital in Bucharest.

On Sunday, November 22, a young man from Sinaia mountain resort also lost his life in a clinic in Vienna. He was 19 years old and had burns on more than 60% of his body.

The tragic fire took place on October 30, at Colectiv Club in Bucharest, a popular club among young people. A total of 27 people lost their lives in the night of the incident, but the number of deaths kept rising in the weeks that followed.

Some other 150 people were also injured in the fire and were admitted in Bucharest hospitals. 39 of them were transferred to hospitals and clinics abroad, in Germany, the UK, Israel, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and France, but 10 of them died.
