Bucharest’s District 6 City Hall launched on February 27 a tender for the thermal rehabilitation of apartment buildings in the district with an estimated value of RON 4.5 billion (nearly EUR 1 billion).

The works will include thermal insulation of exterior walls, terraces and basements, replacing existing carpentry with energy efficient carpentry, plumbing works and other related works, according to the announcement published on the electronic procurement platform SICAP, quoted by Economica.net.

The City Hall selected the areas where such works will be operated based on the past rehabilitation works, and split the district in four areas that will be separately auctioned.
