Bucharest dressed up in lights for Christmas
Bucharest dressed up for Christmas again this year. Lit up on December 6, the 3 million LED lights across the city will be on until January 5, 2014. In total, a track of 23 kilometers was covered in lights.
The Christmas lights have been installed in the central areas of Magheru, Nicolae Balcescu, I. C. Bratianu and Unirii boulevards, Unirii, Universitatii, Romana, Victoriei, Charles de Gaulle squares, as well as other boulevards, such as Lascar Catargiu, Regina Elisabeta, Calea Dorobantilor, Calea Victoriei, Kiseleff and Aviatorilor.
Christmas lights and ornaments were also put up in the Old Town, as well as in George Enescu, Natiunile Unite, Constitutiei, Rosetti, Regelui and Operei squares.
