A local version of the Walk of Fame boulevard has been inaugurated in Bucharest, on the sidewalk near the Cocor shopping center downtown the Romanian capital city. The first star on the Romanian Walk of Fame is that of Romanian actor Florin Piersic.

The cultural project aims at paying a tribute to Romanian actors and a new star will be added every month. The project was inspired by the original Walk of Fame boulevard in Los Angeles. The Romanian project was created by the Cocor shopping center, the Bucharest Tourism Association and the Metropolis Theater.
