Bucharest’s Hotel Epoque passes EUR 2 mln sales threshold
Bucharest five-star boutique hotel Epoque, which posted a EUR 2 million turnover in 2014, wants to grow its revenues by 10% this year, it announced. It has budgeted a rise of 20% in its revenues from the meetings, incentives, conferencing and exhibitions (MICE) segment, and a 21% growth from its L’Atelier- l’art culinaire restaurant. The restaurant already upped its revenues by 14% in 2014, while the hotel’s turnover rose a total of 21% in 2014 over the previous year. The MICE segment recorded a whooping three-fold increase in 2014.
Hotel Epoque recorded an occupancy rate of 70.7%, which represents 7.5% above Bucharest’s average occupancy for 2014. This evolution is due to the unique achievement of Epoque’s accommodation structure, but also to the growing popularity of L’Atelier restaurant, reflected in a 14% revenue increase.
The hotel started a collaboration with High End Restaurant Solutions – H.E.R.S Group, which has been operating its food and beverage outlets since January 2015. H.E.R.S. portfolio presently includes LOFT Bucuresti, LOFT Mamaia, Crama Domneasca, El Capitan and Office Predeal.
