Bucharest hotel to celebrate Diwali with Indian Food Festival

In order to celebrate the beginning of the Hindu new year and the Diwali festival of light, Crowne Plaza hotel in Bucharest will be hosting  an Indian Food Festival between November 12 and 25. The event will feature traditional cuisine from different regions of the Indian Subcontinent, such as Goa and Mumbai.

Head Chef Ashlie Dias, originally from Mumbai, India, will be preparing for the public goodies like Tandoori Chicken (marinated chicken in garlic and yogurt sauce, ginger and spices), Chicken Biryani (chicken, sauce and Basmati rice cooked with saffron and rosewater) and Seafood peri peri (Shrimp, mussels, calamari and chili sauce).

Foodies can experience Indian cuisine à la carte, from a buffet,  or at a special India inspired Sunday Brunch. During the festival Head Chef  Ashlie Dias will give an Indian cooking class, on Thursday, November 15, starting at 18:00.

Thursday, November 15: Lunch - Buffet with area dedicated to Indian food
Dinner - Cooking Lessons and à la carte menu with Indian influences

Thursday, November 22: Lunch - Buffet with area dedicated to Indian food
Dinner - A la carte Menu with Indian influences;

Friday, November 16 and 23: Lunch - Buffet with Indian food dedicated area
Dinner - A la carte Menu with Indian influences;

Saturday, 17 and 24 November: Lunch - a la carte menu with Indian influences
Dinner - A la carte Menu with Indian influences;

Sunday, November 18 and 25 : Lunch - Sunday Brunch inspired from the Indian kitchen
Dinner - A la carte Menu with Indian influences;
