Bucharest joins End of the World craze with themed parties
The whole End of the World craze has taken over Romania too, and as the predicted event – which corresponds to the end of the Mayan calendar's long cycle on December 21 - happens to be on a Friday, club owners in Romanian capital Bucharest have tried to use it to their advantage. Themed parties are organized for the night of December 21.
Clubs like Expirat, Club Blue, Indie Club and Student Pub all invite people to face the End of the World partying together. Club Expirat is asking guests to wear superhero costumes and try to save the world.
Club Blue will donate all the proceeds from The End Of The World Party to children who suffer from osteogenesis at the Grigore Alexandrescu hospital.
Studio Martin looks on the brighter side and celebrates new beginnings in their Friday evening party, while Club Planters ups the ante, with its party "Invasion of the black angels", which it calls “the last party ever seen”.
