Bucharest shopping mall hosts second LEGO Festival
AFI Palace Cotroceni shopping mall in Bucharest is currently hosting the second edition of the LEGO Festival.
The event is a unique exhibition which features giant figurines entirely made of LEGO pieces. The visitors can see famous characters such as Charlie Chaplin and Mr. Bean, as well as Star Wars’ Yoda, Darth Vader, C3PO, and Clone Trooper.
The second edition of the festival is part of the commercial center’s six-year anniversary events. The festival will end on December 4, while the AFI Palace Cotroceni Day will take place on December 1.
AFI Palace Cotroceni is AFI Europe’s most valuable asset in Romania. The mall, which has a gross leasable area (GLA) of some 81,000 sqm, had 52,000 visitors per day, on average, in 2014.
