Bucharest to pay EUR 0.4 mln on feasibility study for new traffic lights
The Bucharest Streets Administration estimates it would have to pay some EUR 0.4 million on feasibility studies for new traffic lights at several intersections and pedestrian crossings in Romania’s capital, to improve safety and traffic flow.
The project involves a framework agreement over two years and will consist in acquiring feasibility studies for installing traffic lights in 52 intersections and 62 pedestrian crossings in Bucharest.
The studies will include several analysis; the services, financed from the local budget, will be contracted through an open tender. The deadline for receiving offers or participating requests was set for May 16.
Following these studies, the Bucharest municipality should also estimate how much money it would pay to actually buy and install the new traffic lights.
