Bucharest welcomes European electronic music during Future Sounds Festival
The first edition of the Future Sounds Festival will bring to Bucharest several European artists who play electronic music this week. The festival will take place at Berlin Club (4, Constantin Mille St.) in the capital city over the week-end. Bands like Sun Glitters (in picture) and YOUAREHERE will bring electronic sounds to Romanian audiences on November 11 and November 12.
Sun Glitters is the electronic music project of Luxembourg’s Victor Ferreira. The artist launched the album “Everything Could Be Fine” earlier this year, and his influences include Boards of Canada, Burial and Balam Acab. Read more about him here.
Founded this year in Rome, Italy, YOUAREHERE is an electronic music project strongly influenced by the sounds of Apparat, M83 and Sigur Ros. The band’s debut album “As When the Fall Leaves Trees” is a musical journey through fast rhythms, reverberated vocals and dreamy piano melodies. Read more about the band here.
Several Romanian artists, such as Montgomery Clunk, Coughy, and Tanz Ohne Musik will also perform at the festival.
Tickets for this festival can be purchased for RON 20 per day from the entrance to the club in the evening of the event, or as a two-day subscription for RON 30 from Ollie Gang Shop in Bucharest (12, Blanari St.), until November 11.
