Bucharest's AFI Palace Cotroceni mall steals CEO from competitor Mega Mall
Israeli real estate developer AFI Europe has appointed Romanian Sorin Scintei as manager of its biggest shopping mall in Romania, AFI Palace Cotroceni.
Scintei was previously the manager of the newly-opened Bucharest shopping center Mega Mall, developed by the South-African investment fund NEPI, reports local Ziarul Financiar. Before that, he managed NEPI’s City Park shopping mall in Constanta.
However, before becoming a mall manager in Romania, Sorin Scintei had immigrated to Israel, where he studied at the University of Haifa and worked in the hospitality industry for the Africa Israel Group, the owner of the AFI Palace Cotroceni shopping mall.
