The five – star hotel Athénée Palace Hilton Bucharest appointed Konstantin Yonchev as director of sales, the hotel announced. Yonchev, who started in the front office at Hilton Sofia in 2002, will be responsible for the sales strategies with a focus on generating sales opportunities and managing the sales team at the Bucharest hotel. He will report to Linda Griffin, general manager Athénée Palace Hilton. Konstantin Yonchev has 10 years of experience and has been a sales executive since 2004.

Athénée Palace Hilton Bucharest was built in 1914, and currently has 272 rooms and 13 conference rooms. The hotel is owned by Romanian investor George Copos, who also owns the Crowne Plaza hotel in Bucharest, as well as hotel in seaside and mountain resorts in Romania.
