Bucharest’s Ferentari neighborhood among worst destinations in the world for a holiday
Bucharest’s Ferentari neighborhood ranks fourth in a top of worst destinations in the world for a holiday, after Stolipinovo in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, Bogota in Colombia and Golyanovo in Moscow, Russia.
For the top 10 worst destinations, buyagift.com took into account several factors such as the crime rate, the local authority rating and cleanliness statistics over the past 18 months, reports Dailymail.co.uk.
With over 3,200 vehicle thefts, 141 murders and 2,462 robberies, Stolipinovo in Plovdiv, Bulgaria came first in the top, being named the worst destination in the world for a holiday.
Bucharest’s Ferentari ranked fourth in the top, with 1,881 car thefts, 378 murders, over 12,200 violent crimes and 2,251 robberies.
“Potholed streets and the smell of rubbish, houses in disrepair and feral dogs are enough to put off the most adventurous of travelers,” reads the presentation.
