Bucharest’s Hotel Epoque targets 2.6 mln turnover this year
Five-star Hotel Epoque in Bucharest expects a turnover of EUR 2.6 million this year, up from 2.4 million in 2016.
Last year’s revenues were 7% higher compared to 2015, mainly due to the 31% increase in MICE sales (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) and the 20% growth of its a la carte restaurant.
For this year, Epoque Hotel expects a 14% increase on the F&B (Food and Beverage) and events segment, a 30% sales increase of its fine dining restaurant, L’Atelier, as well as a 5% increase in the MICE segment.
“We started 2017 with minute refurbishment works of furniture and interiors, and we are now in process of full renovation and subtle redesign of our VIP floor. As for the rest of the year, we expect an extra increase of the MICE segment after an otherwise fabulous 2016, as well as a remarkable evolution of our a la carte restaurant”, declared Diana Popescu, Owner & CEO Hotel Epoque and L’Atelier-l’art culinaire.
Epoque’s guests are 85% international travelers coming from Europe, Asia and America, mainly from markets such as USA, UK, Israel, France or Germany.
Epoque Hotel is a five-star boutique hotel located close to Bucharest’s Cismigiu Park. It has 45 suites, a French gastronomy restaurant, a winter garden, a SPA, and a conferences and events center.
Last year, the hotel was voted the best hotel in Romania by online travel portal TripAdvisor’s users.
