Bucharest’s office market risks oversupply
The office market in Bucharest is already exposed to the risk of oversupply, said Ilinca Paun, managing director Colliers International.
Certain areas in the capital witness high competition on the office market. The situation is beneficial for the tenants, who can find good rental conditions. On the other side, the developers and investors are not happy when tenants start putting pressure on rents, reports local Wall-street.ro.
Bucharest’s office market is estimated at about 200,000 sqm that are absorbed every year, Paun added.
The office market has become a tenants’ market, after the economic crisis, as new developments have been completed.
