C&A, New Yorker, Inditex stores take up 12,000 sqm in Maritimo Shopping Center in Constanta
Fashion retailers C&A, Inditex Group, New Yorker, and cinema operator Cinema City have all leased retail space in Maritimo Shopping Center in Constanta, Romania. Inditex Group has leased a total sales area of 4,500 sqm for six fashion brands: Zara, Bershka, Pull & Bear, Stradivarius, Oysho and Massimo Dutti. A 16,000 sqm Auchan hypermarket will also be opened in Maritimo Shopping Center, along with a Cinema City with eight cinema rooms. C&A has leased 1,800 sqm and New Yorker, 1,200 sqm. In total, the retailers took 12,000 sqm of space in the project.
“We are currently in discussions with other well known international retailers who are interested in this project”, said Eduard Zehetner, Immofinanz Group CEO. Immofinanz Group is the developer of the Maritimo Shopping Center retail project in Constanta.
The mall opening is planned for this autumn, according to the Immofinanz Group representatives. It will feature 50,000 sqm of leasable area. The shopping center was initially called Polus Center Constanta, but re-branded as Maritimo in October last year.
