Canadian jazz singer Diana Krall back on Bucharest stage this summer

Canadian jazz pianist and singer Diana Krall (in picture) is including Romania in the tour to promote her most recent album Glad Rag Doll. The artist will perform on June 30, 2013, at Sala Palatului in Bucharest. Diana Krall previously held a concert in Romania in 2009.

Born in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada in 1964, Diana Krall has sold over 6 million albums in the US and 15 million worldwide. She started to play piano at the age of four. In 1993 she released her first album Stepping Out, while three years later, her third album All for You: A Dedication to the Nat King Cole Trio was nominated for a Grammy award. The jazz singer has won two Grammys and eight Juno awards and also earned nine gold, three platinum, and seven multi-platinum albums.

Her latest album Glad Rag Doll was released in October 2012. Diana Krall has collaborated with Academy Award winning costume designer, Colleen Atwood and acclaimed photographer, Mark Seliger to create a series of images for the new album. Read more about Diana Krall on her website here.
