Central Bucharest hotel turns into space for public institutions

23 June 2016

The Triumf Hotel in Bucharest, one of the most valuable assets owned by the Administration of State Protocol Patrimony RA-APPS, will host public institutions in the future, reports local Profit.ro.

Some of the potential tenants are the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) and the Justice Ministry.

Transforming a hotel of its scale into a space for public institutions represents a premiere in Romania. The two-star hotel covers almost 6,000 sqm, and is located on a plot of 15,000 sqm near the Kiseleff Boulevard in Bucharest. It has 98 rooms and apartments, a restaurant with 120 seats and a summer garden.

The state hasn’t managed to find buyers for the hotel and decided to use it for public institutions. According to official sources, the Government has asked RA-APPS to remove the hotel from the list of assets that are up for sale.
